Photoshop;?

Hi, I was wondering if there is anything else like photoshop,

(I already know about GIMP and paint shop)

Photoshop;?

Paint.NET -- very impressive.

I've been using it since an year now.

check it out here: http://www.getpaint.net/index.html

Photoshop;?antivirus downloads

If you want a free alternative you can use GIMP from

http://www.gimp.org/windows/

it is very complex

or a program from serifsoftware at http://freeserifsoftware.com/

Photoplus 6.0 also working with layers and have a good documentation

But I subscribe to the opinion that Photoshop it a best choice especially for profesionals

If you are worried about manny book you can listen a podcast at:

http://cspodcast.libsyn.com/
if you can find something called micrografx picture publisher, grab it. its a little old, but really worth it, comparable to later versions of photoshop for a fraction of the price. compusa may still have some...

ulead makes something too, cant remember the name tho, but another good one for sure.
Photohsop is the best

but you can use corel painter, paint shop pro as well for this purpose.
corel draw %26 macromedia dream works! ^_^
Paintshop pro
Well, basically that is as good as it gets for now. I have Photoshop and it is wonderful!
Absolutely.
There are many programs out there...it's a matter of what you want to accomplish with them. Photoshop does more than retouch and manipulate photos... Paint shop does more than paint. If you are looking to actually paint though, Corel Painter 9.5 is out and it's the best realistic Painting engine around. Open Canvas also paints. Just depends on what you want to do with your piece is all.
photoshops the best you can get!
