ive been thinking about getting Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 but i have a windows vista so it wont work. do you think there is an upgrade for it? cause i heard Photoshop Elements 6 is what i need to get, but im not sure what it does. does it work with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 or does it just replace it completely? and does the photoshop elements 6 have the same features as the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 if it replaces it? wow. im confused just thinking about it %26gt;_%26gt; haha.

Elements 6, for Windows, was released a couple of months ago. Each number is at least one year in difference on release of versions. So Elements 2 is about 5 or 6 years old. Of course 6 will do everything that 2 will AND more.
Elements 4 and earlier will not work with Vista. Elements 5 will work with a patch downloaded from Adobe. That sort of leaves you with Elements 6. Go for it.
BTW, there are Yahoo groups that are specifically for Photoshop Elements.

Kate, If you get it from Ebay, make sure that you are buying one that is "brand new in the original package and registerable". Then register it with Adobe. If you decide to buy a later version, you will get a $20 rebate on the cost of that newer version. I think you will be happy. Report It
i don't think there is a six because i got 3.0 and it was the newest version as of last year..
